Well I guess I could say in my horse racing terms, I am heading to the paddock. Which is staging for the race, and get warms ups and prerace prep,(this race being 22 rounds long). With a stakes race towards the end of season at MBWA, followed by season ending 2 day 2 heat finish!
Heading out tomorrow for 1st round of the year at home course. Only thing going to be an 9 hole jaunt instead of full 18, have to work that night. But that's okay, going to start with 4 holes using the Callaway ERC and the finish final 5 with Titleist Pro V 1.
Be interested to see what everyone is playing out there and why?
Just curious.
I used Chrome SuperSoft and Sirxon Softfeel. They served me well. Then I got some VicePro and Titleist Pro V1. The difference was the spin. They all felt nice but I noticed using the better 3-piece balls the spin was higher providing better stopping on the greens. However, because of the higher backspin it reduced the overall carry. I measured both in my simulator and decided to go with the bit more expensive 3-piece balls. Let's see how much they penalized me on the course.
