@Tom Saguto Thanks for the book recommendation "Play your Best Golf Now". Got the Audio and started listening earlier this week and Think Box, Play Box really resonated . The whole seperation and the visualization clicked. Will add to it more as I progress. Basically decide what I am going to do (Think Box), what club and line and shot flight. Then setup keep my eye on back of ball and as I start the swing the only thing and last thing I think of is "I am committed to the shot".
Match Play:
Front 9 was down 2 and this is also where the Book helped me also. My brain was trying to get down on me. I took a breath and said not I think I can come back, I am going to pull it together and COME BACK. Tied it and ended up down one going into back nine.
Finished 3&1 winning it! 🏌️♂️🕺
A added jewel on the day. I was still having some issues with the fairway woods and occasiionally the 3 iron topping them. Realized on the last Par 5 I was for some reason with these and only these clubs when transfering to the downswing instead of going weight forward, was going weight forward and standing up a bit for whatever reason that creeped in I don't know. But focused on the last Par 5, hit a nice drive and pulled out 3 wood and crushed it concentrating on not standing up.
Might have been just what the Doctor ordered, this mentality switch and win to get the confidence back.
Also shout to @burkholder.ronald for hitting the nail on the head that I was practice playing. The Think Box , Play Box proved that right as I enter the Play Box for a short 4 to 6 seconds My mind is vacant expect for eye on ball and comitted to shot choice!
Thanks & Blessings All!
Well done, @Steven - great victories over your opponent and over your mind!!
