Yes, but I missed and got par both times and made one very nice long putt to give me 3 pars on the day. The birdies were on par 3’s. The rest of the day was mediocre and sometimes laughable but had a few really nice, extra crispy shots here and there.
I take the wife with me to drive. We laugh a lot. At my expense of course.
Played the same course as a few weeks back and scored 10 strokes less. Mind you it’s a par is 63 with only 1 par 5 hole. But it is rated and starts me on my road to handicap.
Overall 2 chances for birdie is something I have never experienced, and 3 pars on 18 has got to be a record or at least a good tie.
I am being able to analyze my swing better.
making sure I get all the stuff in play. Still, something is not right but the proof that I did better than last time is a positive thing.
Slicing the living hell out of the Driver. I usually hit it straight. I will go the the mats to work in the driver this week. I have left it alone to concentrate on the irons for last last few months since I broke it.
but I am sure a little TS before I go will get me in the right direction. I know I am long winded but I got to get it out. Call it passion.
And for the record I don’t shut up in public either😳
Good Deal!
Par 3's are the hardest to score on! Not much room for error.
Great to hear. I'm hoping to play my first round of the year later this week.
Congrats. Sounds like improvement is beginning. Did you ever get some videos done?
