Okay I wont pick on the kid. 150 balls start out hitting the short clubs worked my way down to the high flying birds. Got to the 6 iron and things got wobbly. went all the way to the 3 wood and was still inconsistent so I stopped and regrouped and this is what I did. First I had a few chunkers. I chalk that up to not keeping the weight forward. had very few. I was hooking the ball. I slowed down but it didn't help I still come back too far and too steep with the club. Slowed down the takeaway but was still a hooker. In my previous post, I spoke about exaggerating my stance. My hands seem way left and I turn me wrist to line the club up with the lead arm. I stopped that. I went back and instead of turning my wrist to line the club with my arm, I cupped my wrist in to get the same effect as the twist but It felt like there was more pressure at the wrist. Hogan arms all the way. Right elbow tucked and I started smashing the ball again. Straight, long air time and crispy. I must have hit my driver 5 or 6 times in a row that took the same path and if the flag was correct I was hitting 250 drives. I know I am long-winded here and maybe confusing but I am excited that I figured something out on my own. I am going to set up the camera tomorrow here at the house and show you guys what I am talking about.
