Has anyone of the experienced players done the planed high, medium and low trajectory.
I have seen the videos of Tom quite often and have learned, that it depends on the finishing.
Low ballflight means hinging the wirst down as possible and nearly no rehinging during the finish.
That is what I understood.
Concerning the low ballflight, I am not sure, if Tom shows a full swing because his hands stop at 3 o clock.
Is this a must ?
What causes the low ballflight in this case ? Tom says it is no delofting of the club.
I try to understand this, but I realy dont have any serious idea.
My plan is to play on March in Egypt on a court at the Red Sea, where you have a lot of wind.
In the past using the old swing I played the ball more to the trail foot. I think this would not work with S&T.
My plan "B" is to do a pitch or a half swing with a wood to avoid the wind, but if possible I would play Plan "A".
Thx
@Rudi (from Munich) - Glad it helped. Enjoy that beer!!
@Rudi (from Munich) The missing Link.
thx for the follow through KFC video. The straight trail arm was the missing link for me.
Rudi (Munich) Even drinking Arnold Palmer’s Lite Lemonade/Tea won’t transform you into a great golfer but will quench your thirst! No short cuts in golf.
Hope sooner than the US-airforce did. Today a US-bomb thrown in WW II exploded in Munich.
Thank you. This is the thing I was afraid of. If it looks easy than hard work awaits you to do the same. 😅
@Rudi (from Munich) - You have to build your "Plan A" through practice and repetition. The formula provided for hitting low shots in the Trajectory section works. You just need to learn how to incorporate it into your swing so it becomes predictable and reliable. Adjusting ball position invokes the Grid. Use that for curvature. For example, watch me hit a high draw with the ball way back in my stance in this trajectory lesson for hitting high shots. I then demonstrate in the same video how to hit a low draw with the same ball position by simply modifying my finish.
