Well, then not sure how you could everUse the pattern for anything other than low point. If you don’t have a target and a flight plan that you are releasing into, you really aren’t practicing anything more than “if I stay in posture, where do I bottom out.”Even that is questionable because trajectory, curve, distance, all come into play for the type of release you should have. My .$.02, if you aren’t hitting a ball, the pretend you are and pick a flight and target in your room to pretend you are hitting a shot…if the ball mark becomes “the target” practice isn’t going to mean much.
So I went back and watched some videos and the v1 coaching. So I think I was standing too close to the ball. I stepped back and all of a sudden the face was square. Who would have thought. 🥸
I am confused by the assumption there is a problem? Were you hitting balls to see the flight or just swinging over this device?
Maybe it is because you are trying to manipulate the club when no manipulating is necessary. Or, grip is wrong. See Tom's video on grip.
Face is open. I was taking it back wrong causing this. Fix one thing another messes up
Maybe it is a lie angle problem. Looks like the toe is hitting the divot board before the heel. Tom might have a better explanation.
