Took Saguto Golf to the driving range for the first time yesterday. Hit about 250 balls.
Arrrrrrrghhh...so bloody frustrating!!! And, sooooo sweet other times.
I need to review - too many fat shots, thin, tops,....The f$&*f am I not "getting" yet?
I love it when I do it right though.
Sincerely,

David,
Really enjoyed our range session today. I sent you the videos by email. The lesson about getting the left arm off the chest in the downswing is in the Power + Distance lesson module. Lessons 4.3 and 4.4 discuss this motion. That said, concentrate on getting a consistent low point of the swing and ensuring that low point is just in front of the ball. As we discussed, using the grid, will give you a road map for the club path and the hand path as well as ball positioning. I would devote a lot of time to the 2.8 drill in the basic course to tone the muscles necessary to hold the wedge in the right wrist through impact and into the straight arm finish.
Looking forward to our next meeting in a month or so and seeing some solid improvement in getting consistent crispy contact.
Again, enjoyed today and thanks again for lunch!
Learning something new, there will be errors or learning curve but it will come in due time.
Sorry, don’t know why my phone published multiple copies of my post.
Don’t give up! If you post a video of your swing, there are many on this forum that can help you. When taking a video, set the camera up at the same height as your hands. For down the line shots, position the camera on a line parallel to the target line but directly behind your hands at setup. For face on video, set the camera at hand height shooting perpendicular to the target line. Make sure your head and the ball is inside the frame. I would be happy to meet you on a range somewhere and help you take the videos.
