After playing some of my best golf ever ( minus putting, today was a nightmare my driver has been great this year and today was almost every drive a giant banana slice and my
irons we’re big slices and skulls and pulls where this year is usually little fade . Notnsure if not enough wait forward but it was a nightmare
Have them in the car
Going to range , will Fool
around with ball position weight forward and maybe my hands were to high . I know if to low more hooks
Thanks tom
tge swing felt good and I thought I was doing the same swing but the results were bad. Obviously the swing wasn’t right . When things go bad I am thinking i started trying fixes on course making it worse
@jscott5150 - I agree with the replies here. Find a default swing that you can revert to when you sense that you're starting to leak oil on the course. For many it's 2.8, which is really just the full swing minus a couple of power accumulators. Some other options include the Flying Wedge or 90% Weight Forward/Arms Straight. This can save your round and also get you back on the proper track.
Was so frustrating . Most of the year my driver has been about 220 wirh a baby fade and the odd draw. Today was giant banana slice . And 7 iron to 60 degre wedge were again baby draws and today skilled lots and when I hit were big slices and some pulls. I am thinking not enough Waite forward . Will
be going to range tonight and weekend . But range doesn’t always translate to course
I'd say the good news here is you were consistent in your ball flight. It's probably one swing flaw from your old swing creeping in and you're chopping...
Thanks
When this happens to me, I go back to basics. Do the 2.8 drill for a couple days, that will get you back on track.
