Can't say enough about the improvement I've made since joining. Played yesterday and beat my buddies, 2 of which I NEVER have. Shot and 80 on 67/117 course. I really don't look at the scorecard because I keep my score on my garmin watch. Hit a nice approach 3rd shot on a par5 on number #18 to about 20 feet. As I stood there waiting for everyone to get on the green I pondered on my score and kiddingly said to my self "I probably need to two-putt this to break 80". Didn't need to pick up and mark because I was out and first to putt. The brand new Callaway I was hitting looked shiny and clean. After hitting the putt and wondering what the hell I did because the ball went haywire..., my buddies razzed me after revealing the clump of mud on the ball (greens were soft and wet) . Missed the next putt for a 3-putt and my assumption was correct. needed a 2-putt to break 80. Should have two putted for a 79. So lesson learned. Always clean your balls!!!!! :)
