Well, I played a two man event yesterday and my partner and I finished 2nd. Given the level of competition that really was shocking the world.
Today, we played a 4 man tournament. Our team won.
Good news is, I am playing right there with some really good players. All around the other guys are still better than me, but no doubt I closed the gap this year. Looking forward to continuing to work in the off season and next year. I fully expect to become a scratch golfer.
My goal for the year was to be able to play to a 3 and I did that, playing sub 3 for much of the year. Hit a rough patch to end the season, but my rough patch may mean I am a 4-5 handicap...still shooting in 70's...whereas in the past rough patches might have been mid 80's.
Thanks @Tom Saguto
Awesome, @Russell Hogue, PhD. Your year's mission accomplished and then some!! Congratulations on a very successful season, and thanks for taking us along on the journey. No doubt in my mind that scratch is in your very near future.
@Russell Hogue, PhD congratulations! I love your positive attitude and it sounds like you’re having fun! That is what Golf is all about to me! Keep it crispy!
