Hole was playing at 118 yards, which was perfect yardage for a full gap wedge. The green slopes hard from right to left, and I aimed about 5 yards to the right to play the slope and hit a perfect push-draw with about a 2 yard draw. Saw the ball hit the green and bounce to the left toward the hole, but couldn't see where it ended up due to the slope and a mound in front. As we're walking up, we don't see the ball, and my friend says maybe it's in the hole. I didn't want to get my hopes up and think maybe it had bounced over into the rough. But when we get there, there it is, in the hole! It had hit about 8 feet behind the hole to the right, then spun back and to the left down the slope. Would have been a little more exciting to be able to see it drop in, but I'll take it.
That's AWESOME, @bh11!! Congratulations on your first ace!!
Any photos to add to the Trophy Case?? How about a detail or two on the hole, yardage, club used, etc.?
Well done!!
