Played today. Not particularly well. Big struggles with a new driver. Anyway, on the 17th hole, an uphill, 126 yard par 3, I took my 9 iron and told myself to go back to the basic 2.8 drill swing and hold the flying wedge through impact. I took it back with quiet hands and then pivoted back with my tailbone moving toward the target. I held the flying wedge, followed through with straight arms and watched the ball start about 10 yards right of the target then start drawing toward the pin. The ball landed about 5 yards short of the pin and spun left and rolled in the cup like a putt. I don't know why I keep trying to play with any swing other than the 2.8 drill swing...
