Played 18 yesterday and didn't play all that great. Didn't break 90 so was a bit disappointed. Had a bad blow up hole that cost me the front with a 48. 43 on the back and struck the ball a bit better. Short game wasn't great. Couldn't get that third shot close for a par putt. Anyway, ran into some buddies playing in front of my twosome and we hooked up for a 6-hole mini-scramble after our 18. Reflected on my previous 18 and just concentrated on keeping weight forward and in-to-out swing. Things I knew I wasn't doing previously. That worked out well. Unbeknownst to me there was money on the line, i must have missed that part of the conversation. Collected my $60 in the parking lot and proceeded to take my wife out to dinner. A beautiful day for golf here in Southern Illinois (midwest USA). 55 and sunny, no wind. We love golfing and nothing better than 'yucking it up' with the boys.

Well done, @Gerry_Lager!! Isn't it great to have an opportunity to take what we finally figured out on the back nine and then get to immediately apply it to some bonus holes?? It's not often we have a chance to do that. And then beyond that, a fed, happy, and therefore golf-supportive wife?? Yep - that's one for the Trophy Case!! 😎
