We won a super tight Ryder cup event today at the golf club I belong to. I am super happy with the way I bounced back.
I was really failing to square the club up today. Swing was out of sorts.
I was one down with 4 to go and played the final four holes at -2 to win.
It wasn’t my day. No doubt about it. Short game had to save me all day. It did. But After a miserable double bogey where I sniped one OB from the middle of the fairway
I had to reset.
Simple. Shoulder to ball and release the swing. 30 degrees right (feel for the day to get the baby draw). The ball was going to do whatever it did, my job was to release it effortlessly toward my desired swing path.
Stuffed a wedge to 1 ft. Birdie. Hard par 4. Hit to 12 feet. Par. Blasted drive, left short pitch to back pin. Birdie. Par 3 middle of green, two putt. That’s gettin’ it done down the stretch. Turned off thinking and just hit the ball.

Nicely done, @Russell Hogue, PhD and the Blue Team. Congrats on the victory and a great comeback in your singles match after the mid-round patch job. A well-earned SG Golden Ball Award!!...
