Hello Saguto golfers and golfettes.
I finally got a tripod and recorded a clip or two of my current swing. It seems to me that the club's position isn't quite right at the top of the backswing, and on the downswing, I did not feel I was accessing the power of angular momentum. I can somewhat access that feeling when I deliberately "drop the club," but it seems timing-based, so I didn't want to do too much of that. Not sure if that's due to my backswing or need to work on the downswing sequence. Thank you for your time, and have a crispy week. https://youtu.be/8Xt0SosSwIE p.s. please let me know if the recording angle can be improved. I will adjust next time.
@WantSomeCrisps - I'm glad to know that you took the plunge and got yourself a tripod... 😆
While I personally refrain from offering swing video analyses here as it conflicts with my V1 service, I'm confident you'll find that many of the Forum "regulars" have a solid knowledge of the swing and can offer very valuable insight from their respective experiences. If you do not receive any responses, I encourage you to look at some of the other posts in the Video Analysis Room section of the Forum, see who some of the regular analysts are, and tag them here in your post (use the "@" sign and then start typing their name and the system will then give you the ability to choose that member - just like I did in tagging you at the top of this message).
Also, if possible it is always easier for folks to review a swing video if it is embedded in the post by clicking the video camera icon at the bottom left.
Keep up the great work!!
Looks pretty darn good to me but I'm no expert. The arc path of your downswing matches that of the backswing
