Hello Saguto Golfers!
@David and @Tom K I've seen that you have offered feedback on this forum so I wanted to tag you. :)
This is my best attempt at imitating Tom and following his guidelines for "the best golf practice drill ever". As this is foundational I don't wanna mess it up by practicing it wrong for weeks. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you my crispy friends! ;)
@benjamintullis Looks like a great start! One thing you do really well (which I notice because I'm trying very hard to do this) is that you keep the club well out in front of you, putting you on the path to a great swing plain. Not for the entire swing, but you start it well (see below).
A few things I noticed but I could be completely wrong so take the following with several grains of salt:
First, how tall are you? I'm about 5'9 and I'm betting you have about foot over me. I mention this because your relationship to the ball looks decent but you look (to me, anyway) to be standing too tall. Maybe you need a bit more knee bend or, possibly, longer clubs. Again, this is just a guess;
About 7 seconds into your DTL clip, your eyes look back as if you're watching the backswing. This causes your head to move a bit more than you'd want;
Also, at about the same point something happens with your wrists (slight roll, perhaps). Up to that point your torso has been in charge (which is good), after the arms take control. Again, I noticed this because it's something I struggle with.
Lastly, I seriously envy your ability to do the drills slowly and methodically.
Good luck with your practice!
James
@benjamintullis Looking good sir! The starting slow process had worked wonders for my swing. I even go back and forth now from full to 3/4 to slow just to make sure I’m doing it correctly. Keep recording your swing just like you did here. That is an awesome tool in the toolbox that I never thought about until I started following Tom. Keep sharing here with us because it motivates me also to see each of us growing our swings to have much more fun playing this game called Golf. Keep it crispy sir!
Seems pretty good. I started the same way this season. Once you get comfortable at that slow speed Take it up, I took it up a little bit with a 3/4 swing and exaggerated keeping the hands in front after contact like you did at shorter swing.
You will be amazed at how that becomes ingrained and will be a great foundation for you swing!
It has done wonders for me at 65 I am playing the best and by far most consistent golf period.
Keep it going this school and forum works.
Like money in the bank, you have to put some in when you start an account so you can make withdrawals later. so basically you are making deposits with these drills. Trust me I am proof this year!
Keep us up dated on your progress it is inspiring to us all!
