As for the lead knee, in the backswing it must always works down in the direction established at address - which should be slightly flared outward towards the target. This keeps the weight forward and the swing center intact. Any inward movement of the lead knee will shift the center and low point backwards. This can lead to inconsistency and may also cause some discomfort to the knee.
If you have A feeling of head against the wall, Eric Congorno. Will this work as he said for Shoulder Down? How important is getting the left knee bent towards the front foot in the backswing? Thanks
