Been working hard on hand position at set up and keeping left wrist bowed and right wrist cupped throughout swing. The more I worked on that, the more an ugly over the top move crept in, with shanks, slices, you name it. Realised that as I was concentrating on pushing hands forward at address to get shaft lean, flat wrist etc., I was also turning my hips and shoulders more and more open to my foot line.
Now, as I concentrate on wrists, but also pull right trail shoulder and hips back to a more neutral/slightly closed position, am feeling a more natural inside swing path. Make sense, anyone?
