I am working on adjusting my weight forward and keeping it forward. I see in your videos that sometimes you move your weight forward by leaning your whole body forward putting more weight on your forward foot. Other times, to move your weight forward you simply bump your forward hip more forward by one and a half inches or so. Is there a difference between these two methods? Is there a certain time for one method and another time for the other method? What the rest of the story? Thanks Frankl

I guess Frank means the move in 2.5 compared to the 90 % weight drill or others.
In 2.5 Tom moves the head and his body forward.
I think that it is only a drill.
@frankpreshern - You want to set - and keep - your weight forward without changing your swing center or shifting your low point. This is best accomplished by keeping the upper torso and head in place while bumping the hips slightly forward. Because this is a foreign concept to most who are transitioning from a shift & lift type of swing, many find it necessary to exaggerate this feel until it becomes ingrained. Thus one of the reasons for the 90% Weight Forward/Arms Straight Drill!
Good question... what exactly defines 'your weight'. upper body lower body? Combination of both at different stages of the swing? I tend to concentrate on the lower body for I don't want my head and torso getting ahead of the ball for a potential chop.?
Good question. For me it's a bit of both! But I don't really lean my upper body forward, just from the waist down.
