Tom says to have 55-60% of your weight on your front foot at the start of the backswing.
My question is does additional weight gradually shift to the front foot during the backswing?
As I do the various backswing drills, I have to do this to get my body to form a straight line on my front side when I’m at the top of my backswing. And my best swings are when I feel like all of my weight is on my front foot at the top of my backswing and my weight stays forward as I swing down and thru the ball.
Any help would be appreciated. I want to make sure I have the backswing correct before to start focusing on the transition, downswing and follow thru.
