Hi Tom and all,
I started the Saguto Golf golf program about 1.5 months now, and it has been a struggle trying to get rid of all my bad habits (built over the last 5 years!!!). I am still very inconsistent, but I am SLOWLY improving.
Using the weight forward method and bringing my hands around my body, I find that the biggest problem I have is that I am missing the ball or thinning the ball in general. Not sure what the problem is, but I am suspecting it is one of the following:
1) Lead shoulder not pointed down enough;
2) Lead hip moving too much???
Can anyone give me some insight? Not sure if this is a common problem!
Thank you all!
Eugene
Hi Tom!
Thank for the detailed response! I am still going over much of what you said, but I just came back from the driving range and saw some noticeable improvement when I “pointed my tail bone” to the target. I am still inconsistent, but I love this move a lot as it serves to consistently remind me of the weight forward approach.
I definitely need to keep practicing!
Thanks again, Tom!
Eugene
