Hey @Tom…during backswing of irons and wedges, when do you encourage golfers to start folding trail elbow? I’ve been consciously trying to keep arms straighter longer during backswing and have found I hit ball more consistently (not sure why lol)
I just hope I’m not performing a bad habit!
@jon - I do not encourage any contrived manipulations with the hands and/or arms. I prefer that you simply allow them to react on autopilot to the combined elements of maintaining the proper connections, the tilting/turning/extending motions, and the weight of the club. Although this recent YT episode is more about wrist hinge, the folding of the trail arm is in the same category.
Keep up the GOOD habit!!!
