So New to the program, and been watch a lot of video and still confused about tilt,
Is tilt when you tilt toward the ball? so your arms (if straight out in front of you ,are pointing towards the ball, then you just turn your shoulder 90 degrees around your spin?
The KFC tilt video mentions tilting toward the ball, but other video mention tilting towards the target.
For the drill if I put my head against the wall and turn my left shoulder down. that is great and do I just do that after I am setup at the ball???? if so where does tilt come in, unless it is tilting towards the ball.
Tom do you have a clearer video of this?
Thanks but I just found this video of toms, and he is saying to tilt toward target first then turn.
Hi Bader! Welcome to the club!
The tilt is toward the ball. I think you have the correct thought there. So, you tilt to address the ball (hello ball) and you maintain that relationship all the way through the back swing and downswing through impact. Or, at least that is the goal.
So, you're tilting forward at address, your tilting to you left side at the top of the backswing and you're transferring the tilt to your right side as you perform the downswing.
So, yes, you're spine is axis that you pivot around during the whole thing. Once you nail that, I think you'll be in good shape!
Anyway, thats how I see it. If I screwed anything up Tom will correct it.
