Hi everyone!
lately I have been swinging very in-to-out causing my club face to be open (but square to my swing path) producing big pushes to the right (i am a right handed golfer). on top of that, the excessive in-to-out is also causing me to hit the ball fat on some shots
I believe this is because I do not have enough rotation in my swing (And have a shallow down swing with my arms) I get the feeling of being “stuck“ because my weight is forward but I do not know how to transition to the downswing.
If I try to start with lateral motion, this only makes the club go more in-to-out And has been causing some hip pain.
I have watched Tom’s videos on problem two so next time I go to the range I will be trying to accelerate my arms more so they can be more in sync with my body and try to make them go more left.
this worries me however, because when I try to control my arms too much I swing pretty steep. From my understanding we should be loose and let the weight of the club follow the body motions.
I was wondering if anyone has felt being stuck before like their weight is forward but dont know how to hit the ball from there? And what feelings you might have in the lower or upper body that allow you to rotate from this position?
Thank you!

Hi Tom! thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction!
I did not see these videos. I’m going to go to the range now and try them out!
