In advance, I greatly appreciate anyone’s comments and help. Don’t know how many others struggle with the finish, and I’m not sure what lessons in Tom’s school address this.
On the downswing, I’m aware that the lead leg loads up, as lateral hip motion towards the target continues. The trail foot (inner edge of the foot, especially ,for me) and trail leg need to load enough to cause that lateral hip motion towards the target. At impact, and beyond, the feeling and movement that I struggle with is the front leg, extending more, generating power, and the back extending, standing taller at finish, with lead leg, nearly or fully straight, 95% loaded.. In Bennett and Plummer’s SNT book, they write that there is a “stretch“ as you stand and finish.
Thanks!
Tim
