While maintaining wedge, is it a result of one holding the wedge with tension in their wrists? Or will the wedge be maintained with supple wrists an feeling the weight of the club stay behind your wrist? Hopefully I’m asking this correctly!

@jon - As @Rudi (from Munich) says, there certainly can be some tension initially while you're learning something new. Ultimately though, your second question is where you want to get to so the wedge happens naturally and without having to contrive or manipulate something.
It helped me to hold the wedge (also the hinge) even if this causes tension. Getting more familiar with the new swing I lost tension more and more to hit the ball better and further. That is my old man experience.
Interesting if others have a different experience.
