Hi
In my efforts to tilt and turn, I found myself over doing it, and going too low and around on my backswing.
Going to the "Fix" lessons, I practiced with the alignment stick on my trail side, in line with the ball, pointing up towards my belt line, and swinging above the stick on my backswing. That helped set my swing on a higher, better path. Then, I looked at the lesson on coming over the top on the downswing. Sometimes I do this. Tom's drill for this is the use of the alignment stick, (in the same position as in the too low and around backswing fix), to swing UNDER the stick. If I have corrected my backswing path, but still come over the top on my downswing, would it be a good idea to swing above the stick on the backswing, and under the stick on the downswing?
What do you think?
Paula
Seems like you're on the proper track towards resolving this, Paula. Ultimately we would like to be on the same path back and through, but it oftentimes requires some exaggeration in one direction or the other (or both) to conquer some residual tendencies.
Feel free to post your swing here or submit a V1 to me if you feel like this is a hurdle that you need some assistance with.
