By joining the golf school over a month ago I have been able to change my golf swing and have seen great results thus far. My irons are either straight or the push draw, slightly low but still a lot better than before. However, my driver and long clubs in general are slicing (starting right and curving right). I thought I may have been coming in over the top and chopping at the ball, but when I looked at my swing on camera the club was actually behind my body. I had a V1 lesson with Tom and he pointed out how the club way behind me with my irons was causing me to hook the ball. What is the difference between the longer clubs slicing with this same issue as opposed to hooking like the irons and how can I fix this problem?

@Chris Allen - Remember that starting direction is determined by face angle relative to the target line, and curvature is face relative to path. SO a push-slice - which is what you described - has a face that is open to both target line and path at impact.
IF your path is good - and you should use video to confirm this - then let's start by nudging the ball position incrementally forward with the longer clubs, monitoring impact and ball flight with each tweak. If this has no effect or exacerbates the issue, then have a look at How to Fix Shaft Plane Issues (Fixes Slices, Hooks, Pulls, Pushes, and More) from the new Get Out and Go Play program. Again, be sure to use video to confirm this.
If neither of these help then we'll dive deeper.
Makes me think club face could be too open? You could be standing too close to the ball so not making full contact with face of club? Also try slowing swing down. Beware that even with swinging around body if you are swinging too hard you can still end up hitting outside/in or over the top, especially if trying to muscle it with right forearm.
