Approach iron distance

@Tom Saguto distance isn’t my issue. I can easily git clubs further if needed. My issue is 100% control flight and hit more GIR. I need to see 14-15 GIR every round…need more birdie putts vs up-and-down for par.

My average distances are misleading because I play 1 length irons and as a result, I got so comfortable hitting half shots with my wedges and realized I could do thst with every club. As a result, I hit a bunch of half shots and 3/4 shots all the way through my bag.

The low number is my half shot and the high number is my average full shot. Basically, I can do a half swing with an extra club or a full swing with a more lofted club to hit the same yardage. It’s nice because the half swing flights in a little lower…the choice is often dictated by conditions and flight plan.
