The past couple of rounds were up and down. Ended back into the 90s. I wanted to smack myself with my clubs, but that being said I pulled up my big boy pants and carried on. I've had my putting down to about 30 putts per round. Went out today and was having some difficulty, here and there, but still shot 44 on the front. Toward the end of the 1st 9 I realized what I wasn't doing. Got onto the back and shot a 40. Had two bad holes and pared 7 holes. What I realized is that Tom's left knee is always outward towards the target. That was my image and I was drawing the ball like I was using a crayon. Should have had a couple of birdies but one must not be greedy.
I think this is a corner for me. Thanks Tom. I've offered your program to my buddy but his preference is to shank, dig and hit the ball 30 yards. Thanks again.
My 70s is in my view.
It is truly amazing how stubborn some people can be in regard to their swing. Of course, your buddy is getting a lot more for his money in term of swings. You know?
84 is a pretty sweet round! I just got back for 43 on 9 holes! I even blew up on one hole and had to take 2 penalties... It's coming!
@thomas.linehan - That which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger, and thanks to your previous issue, subsequent self-discovery and repair, you are now stronger and a significant step closer to taking ownership of your swing! Well done!! Birdies to soon follow...
(Sadly, the same cannot be said for your hapless buddy.)
