I’ve been going through the Saguto course for a few months now and am a huge fan of all the videos. I was wondering how useful or necessary the S&T book is in addition? What does it provide that isn’t covered here? I’ve always been weary about golf swing stuff from reading a book, but if you all find it useful I definitely will read it. Just wanted to hear people’s thoughts. I will do what it takes to get to ball striking bliss.
Thanks!
I just picked up the book and finding it a great resource. I have been a student of the game for a long time and having made the move to S&T over the summer it just made sense to get the book that sort of started it all. It has helped clarify a few things for me already like the tilt aspect of the swing which is explained very well in the book. Plus knowing how and why the swing came about is very interesting stuff and helped make a little more sense of what Tom is teaching - for me anyway. The more information I can get on a subject the better - I am wired that way though so for some it might be overkill. How well all of Tom's videos and related information compliment the book is still yet to be seen, but so far they appear in alignment and I have not seen anything contradictory to Tom's teachings or vice versa.
I just started reading the book, but based on what I have seen and read so far I can recommend it without hesitation.
Cheers,
AE
