@Tom Saguto - Is this book, The Stack and Tilt Swing: The Definitive Guide to the Swing That Is Remaking Golf, well written and illustrated? I read a criticism that it was poorly written and some explanations didn't match the picture illustrations. Help, please. Thank you.

@Patrick Anlauf - I reference the book often here in the forum as I find it to be a very good reference guide to supplement what you are learning in the school. I would not consider it a viable sole means of learning the swing system, but it certainly provides nice detail on many of the inner workings and I also like the "feels" provided by S&T PGA Tour players interspersed throughout.
Andy Plummer conveyed to me that he and Mike were not necessarily pleased with the editor's chop job in the final version because there was more "meat" that they wanted to provide, but all in all it is still a very good "textbook" for the school.
I look forward to Tom’s response, too. In the meantime, my 2-cents on the book are: It provides the bedrock foundation of Stack &Tilt. I judge the book on the value of it’s instructional value, not it’s literary standing. The authors make their points clearly enough - sure, there are places where we need to stop and think about what’s discussed and maybe reread a time or two… but even Mr. Hogan’s book had me scratching my head a few times.
Bottom line: with the book as a foundation, Tom’s excellent instruction more than clarifies any ambiguities. Just my opinion…
