Hey Tom, I met you at Kiawah with one of my buddy's. I was the short old fat dude that said "Hey it's the Saguto Golf Guy!" We shook hands and you said "So you're stacking and tilting?" I was looking at you like, "No, I haven't really been stacking and tilting have I? Christ, what would the guys at the club think?" I started seriously watching your videos again and realized very quickly that yes, I am actually learning S&T through your videos. I thought I was just hitting KFC crispy and smashing mashed potatoes. Anyway it's been working. It has been a slow process but my game has been improving over the last year. I am fully embracing the concepts now that I know what I'm learning and I finally joined the Saguto Golf site. My friend that was with me started watching the youtube videos and is telling me he's getting positive results also. Anyway, I appreciate your teaching style and videos. It has simplified my golf swing and has started repairing 40 years of flaws. I have always turned to Ben Hogan's Five Lessons as a learning tool. Your videos have also helped explained his swing fundamentals in a much clearer manner than hi sbook. In other words, I read the book now and I think "Stack and Tilt". It makes it so much easier. I'm curious if you've read his book and seen the similarities also. Thanks for your help brother. I'm learning to hit with the "Wrath of God!"

I am proud of you, young man, for not using your fame and celebrity to push in front of the common people. Reason #53 why I don't go to tournaments other than practice rounds. Last major I attended was when Payne won the US Open in Pinehurst and got to see the fist thrust on #18 in the rain with no cell phones. Different time.
I absolutely do remember meeting you at the PGA in Kiawah, @mst_hokie! What a fabulous place!
I'm very glad to know that you're experiencing increasing levels of crispiness, and also that your friend is benefitting as well. Mr. Hogan timelessly delivers phenomenal instructional value, right?! But there are just so many misconceptions about Hogan’s swing out there - particularly within the realm of misunderstood or misapplied instruction - that have sadly relegated generations of golfers to the vast abyss of chronic frustration. I'm doing my best here to clear these up one by one and put an end to this madness by taking what Mr. Hogan conveys in the “Five Lessons” book as his "feels", applying it to the reality of what he actually did in his swing, and translating it into something we all - including myself - can learn well from. If we can get Hogan right there are tremendously effective swing keys to be garnered, and reading Five Lessons with a S&T mindset will surely help you to do so!!
And yes, @mpandichjr - I cruise over to LCC a couple of times a week from my Kiawah rooftop heliport. It sure beats navigating around Charleston. In fact, I am so well-connected on the Island that I was able to enjoy all the best vantage points during the Championship, such as this one below of Phil winning it on the 18th green...... 🤣🤣🤣
It's a beautiful place. Hopefully I can play some courses again next time we are there. We pretty much just went to the PGA everyday this trip.
I use to caddy at Kiawah! Love that place!!
It was a great week capped off by seeing Uncle Phil hit his last shot on 18 into the green. His drive landed about 3 feet from us while we were standing on the ropes.
I'm surprised Tom didn't invite you over for drinks at his house in Kiawah. Rumor is he lives at 32 Ocean Course Drive on the beach and commutes everyday by private helicopter to Litchfield. I can't verify it as fact, but that is the rumor around the Cassique clubhouse and the bars at Hege's and King Street.
@mst_hokie Welcome to the Dark Side! You are in good company and Kiawah is my favorite place.
