Part of my journey learning how to play golf was also to lose a few pounds in the process.
This year it is definitely a focus area for me If my golf is going to improve, then my fitness needs to too!
So, I am dieting right now and I can get a cheat day, but I have to earn it. the wife says if I can shoot 40 or better on a 9 hole course she chooses, then I get my cheat!
This is really hard.. for a start 40 Gross is single figure territory. (im 15 hcp) Second, any course? Ive not played 90% of them!!
what do you think my chances are, @Tom Saguto ?

keep it crispy out there!
Diet change is the key! I cut out sugar years ago and carbs and eat clean. When I originally changed the diet dropped 36lbs in 2 months!
Go for it!!!!!!
good luck @Bazza Clarke . Once you get into a groove and see the weight dropping you won't look back. Also, take advantage of the data that the simulator gives you. Understand why a shot does what it does. Looks like you're using the GC Hawk launch monitor.??
I'd say you've got a very lenient "judge", Bazza......
I see you breaking 40 with regularity, so let's just make sure that all those accumulating "cheat days" don't blow up your diet handicap. 😆
