started Playing golf 8 months ago during lockdown in the uk, not actually been round a golf course yet and as you can see by my fundraising page I’m due to play 36 holes, any one have any advice, I’m still having issues with flicky wrists and firing my hips towards the target on downswing
Enjoy the rounds. Golf is fun! If it’s your first rounds on the course ever just take it all in. Maybe think about what you could do a little better second day but just soak it in. You’re going to hit “bad” shots wether it’s a missed putt of chip or whatever. Don’t let it eat you. Tiger woods has said before he gives himself 10 steps before he moves on to the next shot. I try to give myself less than that. So don’t get to upset about things that don’t go your way and don’t think about your swing. You mentioned your wrists but on the course try to keep it as simple as possible. Good luck and hit it with the wrath of god!
