As much as I love to hit golfballs when things are good but I tuckered out today, late in the game. The first 100 balls were good but I struggled in the very beginning to get things going and I have found that I really come back with the club to get that shoulder where it needs to go. And when I do and I keep that weight forward, and the lead arm straight I am hitting the ball like I am supposed to. And it is so satisfying with extra crispy goodness.. I don't know why I can't start well but I will now make it a priority to get going quicker in the near future. Hit 200 balls just like yesterday but I hit them better today than yesterday so that's a good thing. I was really bothered today at the range a little bit. A dad with two boys came to hit but The one young man was a lefty and he ended up in the station to my right. the kid was all over the place with the ball. And I thought that he should have been in the middle of his dad and brother and when he hit one off the toe that came my way I took a seat. I was into the harder clubs by then but I grabbed my PW just to hit it nice and easy. I was hitting that club in classic fashion. Crispy, beautiful draw, in the air, hang time that was so satisfying I had to do it again. Thank goodness kid hit balls at the rate I used to eat fig Newtons and was finished quickly. Don't get me wrong, I had some clunkers too and I still feel my divots are too deep sometimes but getting back to where I was, and at least this time I am armed with more knowledge on what I need to do to take it to where it needs to go.
