I saw this drill below on my Instagram feed and made a lot of sense so thought I'd share it.
Sitting on an office swivel chair, both feet on the ground, rotate in the direction of your downswing.
Repeat now with both feet off the ground......you've just learnt the importance of the ground in aiding rotational speed!
Using just your right foot, push off again in the direction of your downswing and make a note of where in your foot you felt the pressure and do the same with your left foot and then try to incorporate that in your golf swing. Can be used for both backswing and downswing and is a cheap alternative to pressure pads.
