Ok Saguto golfers...this stuff works!. After trying a couple online approaches to fix my swing @Tom Saguto has been the biggest impact after just a couple months and a few rounds. I've been practicing in my basement into a net and get out a few times to apply the concepts on the course. After years of being happy to shoot below 45 in my 9-hole league I set my goal to break 40. After 2 months I shot a 39 last night. Concentrated on two things to reduce some flaws. 1) shoulder down and 2) lateral slide of the hips. Hit all 7 fairways with driver, split it right down the middle on each one!!!. Missed 3 birdie putts. My buddy says "you seem to put a lot of weight on your front side...", I said "yep, gonna end up there anyway so might as start it there and stop the swaying".. anyway. Keep working. Identify your faults and work it out. The solutions are all here.

Congrats Gerry! Even better you did this in a league setting where there is some easy pressure you can place on yourself and you busted through that! GJ!
Congrats Gerry! Thats pretty great! I find it funny that you're hitting the ball well and you get a comment like you're doing something wrong! LOL I've been there myself. "...I mean you're hitting them well but,..."
Thanks @Tom Saguto ... lots of enjoyments, had to call the wife from the course and tell her the lawn mowing is gonna have to wait. 🍺
Well done, @Gerry_Lager!! There's some great learning in your comment about concentrating "on two things to reduce some flaws". First of all, you whittled your mechanical thoughts down to just a couple of simple ones in order to prevent "paralysis by analysis" on the course. This enabled you to play "golf" instead of "golf swing" in a pressure situation. Secondly, you selected two thoughts that effectively neutralized your predominant demons from previous swings. The result: a great round - with even a stroke or two potentially left on the course - and probably a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction to go along with it!
Hi Gerry, Thanks for your post and Congrats, that's a great score! It's funny, I hear that comment all the time from guys I golf with in my league, "you're really putting a lot of weight on that front side", or "looks like you have a reverse pivot", then I need to explain Stack N Tilt to them so they leave me alone!
