I have been patiently, painfully patiently, working on 2.8. I turned a corner today! I went back through chapter 2 and realized I had the weight shift all wrong. Instead of leaning slightly towards the target with my weight on my front side, I was more or less just pushing my hips forward with no weight shift. I was also way over reaching in the backswing. So with the dead arms and with the shoulders initiating the backswing, I was making ball first then divot contact all day long! I haven’t perfected it by any means but it is a huge step for me. I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get to this point. This stuff really works, just takes time. I think Tom has mentioned that a couple times😎.
