Tom, you said you'd like to know how my time with Ron Burkholder went with him coming to show many things - he wound up correcting many flaws and misunderstandings.
First, the world should know - Ron Burkholder is a gentleman of the highest order. Courteous; empathic; accommodating; and patient. Ron is very well versed in Saguto golf; and, selflessly generous with his knowledge and abilities. I look forward to a long association with Ron. We will be getting together again later this month, or early April.
Tom - Ron disabused me of numerous misunderstandings and bad habits. Ron infused me with the proper ideas; then demonstrating and even guiding my physical swing.
However, I am currently unable to practice of late due to never and tendon injuries, and of course, Monday evening, I walked full pace into a closed sliding glass door. Concussion, and 3-days recovering.
I'm not convinced entirely that I am not being punished for former transgressions before the fates allow me to play golf again.
Two final notes:
- Play a round, have lunch/dinner, and enjoy, should you ever meet Ron Burkholder here in FL.
- As good a man as I have ever met, military or civilian. A good conversationalist and lunch companion.
- This is a man who has me finally hitting a driver with confidence - thanks to Ron and Tom.
Tom - I can see clearly now...I will make mental, physical, and swing adjustments immediately upon full recovery. Keep you posted if you like - well aware you are a busy man.
Best to all!
Tom needs to come to FLA; I'll show him a very good golf course or two.
I'll even spring for lunch!
