Well Tuesday jaunt to practice facility maybe undoable due to weather not cooperating.
So, did some measuring and more then enough room in my garage (even though 1 car attached to my apartment). Enough room for 7X7 net and mat and bought some foam balls just incase (picking up this morning). Besides still being able to swing when trip to practice facility is not possible, be nice for off season and looks like be able to put to side and get swings in without having the added travel time(still will be doing regular facility trips but this should give me added practice)
Just have seen the results of committed practice! And be nice to get some added work in after work right at home!
Going to order Lag Shot Driver and 7 iron as well.
Eerie @Tom Saguto as I was going over my swing I said and remembered from course, the wall and moving forward drill and said think I been lacking that. And boom your video shows up stressing that along with training aid Lag Shot which like I said am going to order.
This season of my life I am going to invest in my love for the game and was never too sure about training aids but both you and @Russell Hogue, PhD have opened my eyes to the benefits. And I believe the Lag Shot my be just what I need to help me especially with dealing with the metal filled shoulder, think it can be huge!
Thanks
@Russell Hogue, PhD lol
I started the end of last year and beginning of this year.
I just need a new bag and new putter.
Then said heck, treat myself to new irons others are 10 years old. Already revamped woods.
Got a new Garmin, said heck if getting new sticks and am serious about this year got to get the Arccos!(By the way, 1 round from caddie feedback). But info already is eye opening!
Of course started with getting with Saguto Academy!
And Lag Shot training aids on the way and today of course in house range!
Slippery slope? Think I might already be on a Double Black Diamond!
But, agree hit shots today and like I said still going to keep to Outdoor Practice schedule, But very productive today and where I am at, this is going to be a big plus after hitting shots and able to walk out the garage door and do it. I foresee a lot of swings in my future!
Thanks for being a definite inspiration here!
@Steven having a setup at home is the best. Friendly warning, I now have a full simulator, but it started with, “I just need a hitting mat and a net”…you are on a slippery slope my friend. :) Actually, I don’t use my setup a lot. Typically when I have a bad day at the course, I go in and work out what’s happening. Last night, I did it, but didn’t even bother to turn on the computer to see the shots, just hit it as if I was hitting into the net. Today, minus two bad swings, I hit the ball really well. At home practice is the best. Enjoy.
It does! This time of year usually nuts. Like last Wednesday played in 80 degrees, Thursday into Friday rain changed to wet snow! And yesterday high 60's, now high of 57 today with rain on and off. then 67 Wednesday! Once we move into summer usually never an all day rain , just afternoon thunder storms and one of the biggest states for hail!
All in all love it here, and think having the ability to swing club more often and swing aid going to be a big plus.
I think you'll really like the LagShot, @Steven.
By the way, I thought Denver was supposed to have 300+ sunny days per year, but every weather report we get from you tells a different story.....🙄
Enjoy your new indoor facility!
