I never really knew what to do when it was my turn to hit the ball, people would try to help me but that wasn't enough for me to learn, always feeling incompetent and ready to quit. The golf swing is truly "art" in motion. The beauty of the Saguto Golf University is that Tom is at my finger tips whenever I want. Tom shows us exactly what to do, he does it so well, we are not going to get it right away but if you keep repeating his motions things do get better. This is all an exercise in endurance and not giving up. Now I have a plan when I address the ball and today I hit some Crispy KFC shots, you should have seen my face, no one was more surprised than me ! My drives are much longer and I am not playing so much catch up. As suggested, I kept watching lesson 2.8 and practiced in my living room before I left to play It won't be long before I break a light or put a hole in the sheetrock. I did go to the practice range twice this week. At our golf course we have 4 hazards and today I got over 3 of them ! A big first for me. My weakness lays in my downswing, I try to maintain my spine angle but I often come up and things get messy. I know my scores are not great 63 on the front and 65 on the back but that is so much better. I, of course, would love a score in the low 50's but the success for me was not my score but how I hit the ball, I actually felt my improvement. My patience will endure. So many golfers on this site are so good already, I write my notes for the people who are not so good, trust Tom and we will get better. Don't give up! Thank you, Tom, I would have never improved without you, I have watched many videos but you are by far the very best there is !!!!

AWESOME update, @imc627!!
I recently conducted a poll in which I asked golfers if they would prefer to shoot even par with mediocre ball striking or shoot 80 while striking it consistently crispy. The crispy 80 won overwhelmingly, and based on your post I'm guessing you now understand why.
Congratulations on your progress and success, and keep up the great work! You've just earned yourself a SagutoGolf Golden Ball award!
