First of all last weeks league play was deemed a rainout due to the fact that less the 50% of league got out.
So 9 hole league purse will be rolled to year end 2 day final and skins rolled to this coming week. The 18 hole league purse will be rolled to this coming week.
Will find out 1st bracket pairings this week when I get to course for Regular and Senior Match Play Tourneys, They are finally doing it the right way. All Play is from White(mid) tees and of course handicaps. Before use to have the handicap differential plus different tees if you were in a different league play flight. That killed me last year having to give strokes plus playing from back tees against opponents playing from middle tees. Finally Yeah!
@Tom Saguto the other chance talking about is the recently ball position adjustments that worked well. And after always having a crusher of 3 & 5 wood game and that eluded me of late with being consistent. Upon reflection realized it was also having to finally retire my old R9 Taylormades , just worn out. And never really got consistent with the TM MD4's.
So since I got converted to a Callaway Rogue ST Max at the end of last season. I am heading to Golf Galaxy in an hour to check out and hit some Callaway fairway woods. Ever since TM changed their design hasn't worked for me. So going to see how the Callaway's feel.
Going to demo the Paradigm 3 & 5, Paradigm X 3 & 5, Rogue ST Max D 3 & 5. And if they have any other suggestions.
Keeping my PING 3 iron crossover in the bag that is too versatile to be without. Going to trade in my 2 iron crossover, and if I do walk out with 3 & 5 will pull my PW wedge out to make room. Since Arccos stats show that is a rarely used club in the bag. And can always choke down and temper swing with 9 iron if need be.
Out for some range time tomorrow rather then play to work on some things then out on Wednesday to get back at it and in the ZONE!
FYI
I'm glad the ball position tweaks served you well, @Steven.
Interesting that the PW would be the casualty as you typically don't hear that, but if the data tells you it's "non-essential personnel", then so be it!
