Hi all!
As September hits us in the UK, it generally means the end of the season with the nights getting darker earlier and competitions winding down.
Just wondering if anyone reached their goals for 2021, what are their goals for 2022 and what you plan to work on in the off season?
For me, I didn't really have a goal set for 2021. All I was focussed on was working on the swing changes which I'm happy with at the moment. I did shoot a 6 over par 76 and won a competition at my old club which were bonuses!
My goal for the rest of 2021 is to try to score 36 (3 over par) at my local course.
My goal for 2022 is to get my handicap to my previous lowest of 5.5. I'm not targeting any specific competitions as I may re-join my old club now hopefully the worst of the pandemic is behind us.
My focus on the off season is to increase my clubhead speed. I'm currently around 88-90mph with my driver so would like to add around 5mph. Just wondering if anyone has used the Superspeed system and if so, what were the results like? Or does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can increase this?
Looking forward to hearing all your golfing stories and thoughts
