Hi All,
As the days get shorter, and the weather is getting colder here in the Northeast, realistically will only be a few more rounds before course start to close and its officially the off-season. I wanted to get the community's thoughts on what everyone will be doing in the off-season to hit the ground stronger in the spring. For me, I generally commit to focusing on my fitness (since I can't golf) and work on technique at a heated range or simulator place.
Thanks in advance!
Pat D.
Great improvisation, somewhere to hit balls, that's the main thing. I also want to put a net up in our tiny back yard, but suspect I'll get a hard time :-)
Redneck golf ball net. Mattress off spare bedroom bed. The wife hasn't seen it yet, what she doesn't know won't hurt her. 😆
PS. be careful of ceiling fans!
Very cool! Thanks for pics!
That's awesome. I have a simulator place near me. Its $50 an hour so kind of steep if you are by yourself. I will definitely need to take more advantage this winter.
Images from last night, the bays are nice and spacious, consisting the screen, monitor and gc quad, also they give us taylor made tp5x to use. Only downside is you can only get a one hour session, but no complaints, very lucky to have access to this great facility
@PatD I'm very lucky that we have a really excellent performance centre here, with 6 bays equipped with foresight gc2. I've only started using it this month but has already proved its worth and will be a really great improvement opportunity when I can't otherwise play very often due to daylight and weather. With my membership and how much I use it, the cost to me works out about £2.50 a session, alot better value than any freezing outdoor range.
@PatD - I'll go ahead and pin your post in an effort to draw some attention to it. Also, please check out the Indoor Training Program, which is loaded with drills that you can do from the comfort of your home.
