I am curious the type of golf balls people play . My driver speed is between 90-95 mph and was told to play mid compression and have been playing the green Calloway superhot matte balls. I like them but a little expensive . I’m just curious if people find the compression ratings really make a difference . Will lower compression balls really lose distance with my speed . Will low spin help my fade b3 more straight giving me longer yards even though low spin balls are lower compression etc

As another approach to ball selection: whenever I have the choice or $ to spend I get Pinnacle Gold or Slazenger. Why? Because they look cool, it feels real good grabbing one out of the bag and teeing up. The ‘Brand’ marketing they did for their product has worked For me, And that good feeling helps me swing better, I’m sure of it. Especially the panther logo. And for me, you gotta take every opportunity to feel good when out on the course.
