I am struggling with shanks and pushing the ball right. In my 40 years of playing golf, I never had this problem, that is, until 3 years ago. Saguto golf makes sense, and I have a clear understanding of the golf swing. I’ve done many of the drills, and understand swing path, but clearly continue doing something terribly wrong, that I suspect (and want to believe) is not that tough to correct. Obviously, my club face often is open at impact for one of several reasons. I’ve noticed that my shoulders and hips are more open at setup, and suspect that I do other counter-productive, compensatory moves in a feeble attempt to offset the problem. What I feel and think I’m doing does not match reality. My understanding is that using the proper setup and stack-and-tlit swing, the club face gets in the right position at impact without extra manipulation of wrist and hands? I am desperate for correction here, as I am losing my enjoyment of the game.

@pakman1994 - Let's get you over this hump of frustration and on the path towards ball striking bliss. Here is a KFC Club video I did on the shanks. Also, if you search the word "shank" in the forum you will see some other discussion threads on this topic. If, after your review of these and the lessons, drills, and tips mentioned therein you are not making progress in resolving the issue, then please tag me in a comment and we'll dive deeper. It may just be that a V1 Analysis is your best option at this juncture so I can put my eyes on your swing and offer some specific recommendations.
Thanks!
Tom
