Swing caddie is a good device for the money. I would recommend trying to get somewhere with a Trakman or a GC device to compare distances between those devices and the Swing Caddie. Then you will have a baseline. I would not just accept the Swing Caddie as being precise, but it will be consistent.
If it reads 10 yards longer than the higher end device, then you will know that 150 is really 140 as an example. The Swing caddie will be great for dialing in your consistency and being reasonable for distances.
