I recently received this product, and watched the videos that support the impact snap and noticed that the yellow golf ball is making contact underneath the trail forearm when being used. After watching Tom's video demonstrating the use I noticed that it was underneath the trail forearm, but wasn't making physical contact.
My question is how should this device be used to get in the proper impact position. Am I splitting hairs or doesn't it matter as long as the yellow ball is in the vicinity of underneath the trail forearm? Thanks!
@rjroll - In the video I recently posted on the Impact Snap I was actually using it "my way" and not quite as prescribed by the manufacturer, but it worked very well nonetheless. It was really just a matter of how I was holding it, and making sure that the yellow ball finished between my arms and not outside of the trail arm. The instructional videos links that are provided with your Impact Snap are very good and they align well with my teaching. If you use it the way they designed then the yellow ball should finish against the inside of the trail forearm. In either case, if the ball ends up on the other side of the trail forearm then you have flipped!
Beyond these, here are links to a couple of videos from the YT channel that pair nicely with what we are trying to accomplish with this training aid:
