Looking for some guidance. I had knee surgery with my lead knee a few years ago and basically the move forward really hurts my knee.
i come from a place of making a lateral shirt to the right and a bigger lateral shift to the left. I feel like that move really injured my knee over the past year…and there was one stretch where a buddy and I played golf for 50 straight days. My knee has never recovered.
Fast forward, I decided s&t was the answer to be easier on my knee, but struggle with one part of knee getting out past the lead ankle. That move hurts.
@Tom Saguto since I am getting ready for a golf trip and we are going to play 7 days in a row and likely more than one round a day…wondering bout modifications I could make to take pressure of front knee.
i believe that I can cheat the weight forward, say 70/30…and basically cheat the ball back a ball back of center. in essence this leads to playing a stance that is open to swing path, but should allow me to stay super centered and always hit a push draw.
i believe I should be able to line up to left side of fairway/green with a natural swing path to the right side…
Do you have any concerns with this approach?
@Tom Saguto I can barely find any references ro Elk using S&T. It’s kind of surprising because his entire secret in the dirt series gets super in depth…he was a golf machine guy and so he gets into all sorts of crazy conversations. The worst is when he gets with Mayes and Ayres. “The spiral” discussions are just obnoxious.
